The New England Ox Teamsters Association was founded on July 29, 1971 and was incorporated on February 24, 1986. The Association has over 500 members who pull, show, and raise oxen and steers. These individuals attend fairs all throughout New England and compete in competitions for either showing and/or pulling.
The Association is comprised of members from all over New England, who educate the public on steers and oxen and demonstrate what oxen can do.
The Association members meet twice a year for their spring and fall meetings and put on an Annual Show/Pulling event in July that moves around yearly.
